Emma Tait

Emma Tait is an integrative psychotherapist and BACP registered clinical supervisor with 15 years' clinical experience. She holds an MSc in Psychotherapy and is a coach trained to ICF standards. She advises on mental health strategy, training development and organisational capacity building, with particular expertise in trauma informed practice, systemic approaches, and family and client centred work.

Emma has worked extensively with schools, families and parents. She has developed and managed a counselling service, delivered parental conflict training for local authorities, and training on young people's mental health for local football clubs. She designs training on trauma informed approaches and considers how social and environmental factors affect wellbeing. Her approach is non pathologising, grounded in relational and systemic understanding, drawing on the Power, Threat, Meaning Framework. This perspective shifts focus from individual deficit to enable organisations to respond to the whole person and their context.
